The crushed shells are heated in a low-oxygen environment (400–600°C) to remove moisture and volatile compounds, leaving carbon-rich material.

The carbonized material is activated using steam at high temperature (800–1000°C) to develop millions of microscopic pores.

The activated carbon is cooled and washed to remove ash and impurities.

The activated carbon is ground into a fine powder to achieve the desired particle size.

The carbon powder is mixed with a food-grade binder to help form a solid block.

The mixture is extruded or pressed into blocks with precise dimensions.

The blocks are dried and cured at controlled temperatures to increase strength and durability.

Each carbon block is wrapped in a white protective mesh and quality-checked for porosity, strength, and purity to ensure reliable filtration performance in the Velpure™ tap filter.
